It started in Sacramento. It moved to Los Angeles because that is where the watches and the collectors are, and because a dealer who wants to see a piece in person the same day cannot do it from four hundred miles north. Today it runs out of 631 S Olive St, Suite 220, downtown — by appointment, so that when you come, the room and the time are yours.
We grew on word of mouth. Not advertising, not volume. People sent us their friends because we priced honestly and told them the truth about condition, and those friends sent more people. That is still the entire business model.
We are deliberately small. You will not be handed between departments, and whoever answers you the first time will still take your call a year from now.

Movement, case, bracelet — opened and checked by our own watchmaker before it goes anywhere. Not a certificate somebody else issued. Our own eyes, in this building.
We tell you what you’re buying.
Condition, service history, what is original and what has been replaced, what the reference actually is. If there is something you would not like about a watch, you hear it from us before you buy, not after.
Insured overnight, both directions.
Buying, selling or trading, the watch is covered door to door. You are never the one carrying the risk while it is in the air.

No cards, on purpose. On a transaction this size it protects both sides, and nothing is ever taken before you have agreed to it.
